Our themes aren’t just fun, they’re a powerful way for children to learn, explore, and make sense of the world around them. Immersive learning helps children build vocabulary, recognise patterns, and explore ideas, deepening understanding while developing listening, language and critical thinking skills. Every theme opens a new door to discovery - because the best lessons often begin with “Once upon a time…”
Guided sessions
Each session is curated and delivered by an experienced teacher and Early Years education designer, ensuring every story and activity nurtures both imagination and early learning skills. With guidance, children practice language development, social-emotional learning, and creative expression in ways that feel playful and natural.
Enquiries are welcome from parents, carers, grandparents, daycare educators and anyone homeschooling young children.
Make new friends
Storytime sessions are a sweet escape for the little ones and their grown-ups, so take the opportunity to make some new friends and have time out with a cup of tea in the surrounding gardens, available to your child while they are engaged in the Storytime session. Whether you’re in need of connection, calm, or just a little bit of quiet magic, you’re very welcome at the Storybook Cottage.

As they listen, question, and express themselves creatively through the language of movement, children discover that stories aren’t just something to hear—they’re something to become part of. Through storytelling, discussion, and drama activities, young learners stay engaged while developing creative confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of stories and imagination.
